Career Coaching

Coaching is a partnership between the coach and student client to identify and navigate the client鈥檚 objectives. It鈥檚 future-focused and aimed to be thought-provoking. The coach asks a lot of questions! Career coaching is not therapy, training, or mentoring.

Wherever you are on your career path, you might benefit from coaching. Some people engage with a coach without knowing where to start or what to ask. Others have a strong sense of their goals and need a thought partner. Some clients are well on their way, and maybe want a one-time mock interview.

Coaching Session Snapshot

The learner signs up for a session using 12twenty and shows up for it either remotely or in-person. The 45-minute session purposefully walks the graduate studies learner through a process that includes:

  • Agreeing on a topic
  • Exploring the topic
  • Reflecting on insight
  • Deciding on action steps

The process is client-centered and non-judgmental.

The Grad Career Advancement Coaches work to follow the Code of Ethics and Competencies set forth by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Training & Workshops

By working in small groups, we get to learn together and hear/see different perspectives. Not to mention, it鈥檚 a great way to network. Register for in-person and online workshops.

Topics

In 1:1 coaching appointments and workshops, we cover a variety of topics. Also, look in 12twenty鈥檚 Resource Library for information on:

  • 搁茅蝉耻尘茅-飞谤颈迟颈苍驳

Graduate Career Events

We continue to build events for the Muma College of Business MBA/MS community.

Career events are dedicated to certain degree programs or fields of interest, such as Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance. Meet alumni from your degree program. Learn what hiring managers are looking for in the hiring process at a pro panel discussion. Hear from industry leaders how your education is preparing you for the world of work. Show your best self at specialty career fairs.

12twenty

In early 2024, we launched 12twenty, a career services platform designed for graduate business students. This is your go-to for scheduling coaching appointments, registering for workshops and events, and accessing tools in the Resource Library. You can research employers and their jobs postings.

12twenty has a robust reporting function to gather outcomes (i.e., your job and salary, especially post-grad). This data is especially important for 小黄鸭视频 Muma College of Business to participate in reports and program rankings. Information shared is confidential and only reported in aggregate with a minimum number of data points. When you graduate, access does not go away. Alumni have access too.

Students, access 12twenty here:
