About the program

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to jumpstart a student’s academic journey through our Choose Ohio First Summer Bridge Program. This program provides:

Complimentary College Courses: up to 7 credit hours while gaining a valuable head start on your university education.

Free Housing: Experience a welcoming environment where you can build lasting friendships and create lifelong memories.

The Summer Bridge Program goes beyond academics. It is a comprehensive experience designed to prepare you for success. You will gain essential insights into university life, develop critical study skills, and uncover your strengths as both a student and a leader.

Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Live on Campus
• Engage in meaningful community service projects
• Connect with industry professionals for career guidance
• Explore new interests alongside a community of fellow scholars

The 2025 Summer Bridge program begins on June 8th and runs through August 3rd.

Summer Bridge Application

Please note that Summer Bridge is only available to selected Choose Ohio First recipients, and selected students may be required to successfully complete the Summer Bridge Program as a condition for receiving their scholarship. This requirement is intended to ensure that all recipients are fully prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
